We develop software solutions such as Connect and SpaPilot using an AI-driven development process. We are looking for a hands-on Product Manager to turn ideas into well-defined products, guide development, and take responsibility for successful launches and ongoing improvement.

You will work closely with the founder, CTO, engineering team, and Product Designer. This role combines strategic product thinking with practical product ownership and active development oversight.

Your Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Discovery

• Act as a thought partner to the founder: develop ideas together, challenge assumptions, and contribute your own recommendations.

• Research customer needs, markets, and competitors to assess opportunities and inform product decisions.

• Define product goals, target users, value propositions, and measurable success criteria.

• Build and maintain realistic product roadmaps aligned with business priorities.

Product Ownership

• Turn ideas into clear feature descriptions, functional requirements, and structured specifications, supported by AI.

• Own the product backlog, prioritisation, acceptance criteria, and scope.

• Work with engineering to make specifications technically actionable and divide work into manageable releases.

• Resolve product questions during development and maintain clear documentation of decisions and changes.

Development and Delivery Oversight

• Coordinate progress through our development process: Idea → Feature Description → Structured SPEC → AI Build → Review → UAT → Production.

• Ensure implementation remains aligned with requirements, product goals, and the agreed roadmap.

• Review working software and development progress regularly with engineering.

• Track milestones, dependencies, blockers, and risks, and drive their resolution.

• Identify deviations early and agree corrective actions with engineering.

• Bring clear options and recommendations when scope, priorities, or timelines need to change.

• Coordinate business reviews, UAT preparation, and release readiness. Responsibility for performing UAT will be agreed within the team.

User Experience and Product Design

• Work with the Product Designer to shape user journeys, workflows, and product concepts.

• Bring practical UX judgement to product decisions and translate user needs into clear requirements.

• Use customer feedback and usability findings to improve the product.

• Ensure delivered features are understandable and useful in real working situations.

Go-to-Market and Product Growth

• Develop go-to-market plans, including target audiences, positioning, messaging, and launch activities.

• Generate practical marketing ideas and coordinate execution with marketing, sales, and relevant stakeholders.

• Align launch plans and customer communications with product readiness.

• Monitor adoption, user feedback, and business results after launch.

• Prioritise improvements and maintain ownership of the product throughout its lifecycle.

What You Bring

• Several years of hands-on product management experience with software products, ideally in B2B or SaaS.

• Strong product ownership skills: requirements, specifications, backlog management, prioritisation, and acceptance criteria.

• Experience taking products from early ideas through development, launch, and continuous improvement.

• Strong delivery discipline and the ability to keep development aligned with agreed objectives and milestones.

• Experience with market research, competitor analysis, product positioning, and go-to-market planning.

• Practical UX experience and the ability to collaborate closely with a Product Designer.

• Enough technical understanding to discuss feasibility, integrations, dependencies, and quality with engineering.

• Confidence using AI tools for research, analysis, and specification work, together with the judgement to verify their outputs.

• Strong written and spoken English.

• Clear communication, initiative, and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.

How You Will Work

• You own product direction, functional requirements, priorities, and roadmap coordination. The CTO and engineering team own technical architecture, implementation, technical quality, and production operations. Delivery plans and commitments are agreed together.

• You are expected to work directly on research, specifications, product reviews, and launch planning. You will actively guide execution, make decisions within your remit, and bring unresolved trade-offs to the right people with clear recommendations.
