Job Summary:

The Mechanical Design Engineer at Tuuci Asia is responsible for building and maintaining the company's CAD technical documentation system — including 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and technical reference documents — ensuring accuracy, consistency, and up-to-date alignment with the latest product changes.

Beyond internal technical responsibilities, this role works closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to deliver product visuals and technical information that support commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models, assemblies and detailed drawing using Solidworks.

• Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings, BOM and part lists.

• Support R&D department when have requirement.

• Help the Sales team with product layouts and technical information when needed.

• Give 2D drawings and 3D models to the Marketing team for product promotion and presentations.

• Set and follow drawing standards to keep the CAD document library consistent (naming, format, and structure).

• Handle in-house projects and other tasks assigned by the Manager.

Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks — 3D modeling, Assembly, and 2D drawing.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, working knowledge of GD&T.

• Ability to develop standardized technical documentation and control document systems.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply — on-the-job training will be provided.

• Able to use AutoCAD for 2D drawings

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.

• Good teamwork and communication skills across departments.

• Able to read and understand technical English documents.

Good to have (training will be provided)

• Experience producing drawings or visuals for Marketing or client presentation purposes.

• Familiarity with rendering tools such as KeyShot or SolidWorks Visualize.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes: metal fabrication, surface finishing, and product assembly.

• Experience with document management systems (Doc_Vault, PDM, or equivalent).

• Experience with Solidworks API.

• Exposure to BOM management on ERP systems (academic or internship experience is acceptable).
