- Fasteners/ MRO material purchase experience in manufacturing factories or in technical field such as facility construction, equipment/ machinery, and fixtures.

- Analyze available resources to select potential suppliers that are in line with the needs of the Würth Group, such as product quality, TCO, etc.

- Visit potential suppliers on site to evaluate production capacity、quality control process, and cost structure etc.，

- Choose suitable potential suppliers for cost comparison purposes and then make final ranking for those potential suppliers on a quarterly basis, and then work out the plan how to develop the suitable potential suppliers to be partners

- Ensure compliance with the purchasing process and standards in his/her area and mitigate the supply chain interruption risk for Würth Group through enlarging suppliers resource located at different countries

- Choose right suppliers to make quotations in time to support local sales team to win new project

- Assess existing supplier source, then combine or further develop good suppliers as strategic partner to guarantee having excellent supply chain capabilities to support local team to win new business

- Ability to travel

- Other tasks assigned by the company

Skills and Qualifications:

- Background Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.

- 2 year’s experience in supplier development in related industries, extensive experience with Fastener/MRO materials preferred

- Preferably with knowledge in the field of fastening materials, C-parts products or related industrial materials.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis, procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) system (SAP)

- Have plenty of supplier sources for Fasteners/ MRO is preferred

- Have the knowledge of ISO9001 , ISO14000 or IATF16949

- Good skill in negotiation, communication & analysis.

- Excellent speaking and writing in English. Chinese is a plus
