Role purpose and responsibilities

• Strengthen the position of Lactalis and its products before regulatory authorities and government bodies, so as to create a favorable and enabling operating environment in which Lactalis can achieve its business goals.

• Support the implementation of regulatory strategies for product development, in line with local business priorities.

• Assist in managing key stakeholder relationships in order to promote a sensible and workable regulatory environment supporting business objectives.

• Support delivery of the company’s regulatory strategy and objectives by providing advocacy and lobbying capability.

• Take responsibility for regulatory submissions and for resolving compliance issues.

Role accountabilities

• Plan product registration and promotion registration activities in line with the company’s strategic business goals.

• Monitor and obtain drafts of new legislation; analyses the drafts, submit comments and proposals to the competent authorities, and brief relevant internal departments so that the business can prepare for future requirements.

• Support the development of relationships with officials of the health authorities and other regulators at central and provincial level.

• Prepare, submit and follow up product dossiers for new registration, re-registration and license renewal.

• Develop and maintain the Regulatory Database.

• Maintain existing registrations efficiently and in compliance with local law and company standards.

• Manage the market-specific artwork process in order to obtain the required approvals, in line with the Company Packaging Manual guidelines and local labelling regulations.

• Maintain oversight of regulatory issues that could threaten the Lactalis business, and recommend strategic options to address them and safeguard business growth.

EssentialYêu cầu công việc

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Law, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, R&D, QA, or QC with regulatory exposure.

• Good knowledge of Vietnamese regulations applicable to food, dairy, and nutritional products; knowledge of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals is a plus.

• Practical experience in applying regulations within a commercial environment.

• Experience working with health professionals, regulators, industry associations, and relevant authorities.

• Strong ability to research and interpret food regulations and technical standards.

• Excellent communication skills and good command of English.

• Strong writing skills, particularly for official documents submitted to Vietnamese authorities.

• Exposure to product registration, labelling, and advertising compliance procedures in Vietnam.

Preferred

• Additional qualification in Food Law, Food Safety Management, or Quality Systems.

• Experience in the dairy, nutrition, FMCG food, or pharmaceutical industry.

• Strong relationship management and organizational skills.

• Experience with imported food products, customs, and import clearance documentation.
