Role Mission

• Own the portfolio management product backlog end to end, from portfolio segmentation and behavioral monitoring to remediation, collateral revaluation triggers and structured disposal, and from early-exit prevention to post-closure relationship retention. Translate the squad mission set by the Squad lead into prioritized user stories, journey designs and pilots that improve portfolio quality, reduce expected loss and roll to NPL, cut customer leakage and sharpen customer selection.

Responsibilities & Way of working

• Translate the overall ambition into clear customer and business outcomes, with measurable operational KPIs to guide the squad
• Identify and prioritize the key customer questions and root causes behind mortgage default, financial distress, and post-mortgage attrition
• Turn customer insights into practical operational interventions that prevent avoidable defaults, support customers, and improve retention
• Prioritize customer segments, intervention opportunities, and squad priorities based on customer impact, portfolio value, and feasibility
• Own the squad backlog, driving rapid testing and iteration based on customer insights, data, and operational feedback
• Align internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Retail Banking Strategy, Distribution (branches), Finance, Treasury, Risk, Legal and Compliance, Operations, Technology, the appraisal center and external partners (RE developers/agents, AMC, credit scoring vendors) to ensure timely & effective delivery
• Accountability (Example of KPIs)
•  Portfolio quality: NPL ratio, roll rate, risk-tier migration, cure rate, redefault rate, recovery and remediation success rate
•  Customer experience & retention: NPS, early exit rate, post-closure relationship retention, cross-holding retention
•  Delivery: OKR delivery, Roadmap and sprint delivery, backlog health, feature adoptionExperience

Experience

• 5+ years in credit portfolio management, risk analytics, remediation strategy or process transformation across any secured or unsecured retail lending product in financial services institution in Vietnam
• Led working team of 5+ members

Knowledge & Skills

• Competent in product knowledge: Strong understanding of portfolio management, customer segmentation, portfolio performance, remediation and asset recovery in secured or unsecured lending; good knowledge of credit risk, customer behavior and provisioning;
• Proficient in data-driven decision-making: Understanding of dashboard and early warning design for a lending portfolio
• Proficient in agile execution: Strong agile delivery skills in roadmap planning, sprint discipline, stakeholder alignment and benefits realization
• Competent in problem-solving: Translate portfolio, collections and operational pain points into prioritized user stories, remediation playbooks and sprint outcomes
• Proficient in risk & control management: Solid control mindset across credit policies, regulatory requirements, data governance and operational controls
