I. General information:

1. Job Title: Logistics Officer

2. Report to: Supply Chain Manager

3. Working Location: Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park, Ba Ria & Vung Tau Province, Vietnam (Shuttle bus will be provided from 3 locations: Ho Chi Minh City, Bien Hoa City, and Vung Tau City)

II. Summary of the role:

• Responsible to logistics import/export including in-coming and out-going order processing and documentation, generating delivery/shipping documents. Liaise with internal and external transport companies/departments for timely in-coming/ out-going shipments.

• Liaise with brokers/customs for timely customs declaration/inspection shipments.

• Ensure prompt and accurate declaration of permits and prompt receive/delivery and clearance of shipments.

• Investigate and action all non-conformance and recommend corrective actions.

III. Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Shipment planning & scheduling business wide

• Control and administration of inbound/outbound declaration and corresponding customs VNACCS system and inspection/liquidation of customs declaration activities

• Monitoring and liaising with freight forwarder/broker/courier/transportation companies forwarder to arrange and execute shipments receive or shipments booking according shipments requirements timely

• Prepare shipping documentation including, Packing List / Shipping Invoice / Certificate of Origin etc.

• Measure and specify crate requirements for outgoing shipments. Including liaising with external packaging companies as needed.

• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to arrange crates and packaging schedules.

• Manage allocated supply chain requirements in support of Purchasing Officer.

• Expedite end to end logistics of oversea purchase shipments in alignment supplier and Purchasing Officer

• Expedite delivery shipments in alignment with customer priorities.

• Control and administration of shipping documentation and corresponding ERP system activities.

• Support improvement initiatives in relation to purchasing and logistics waste management

• Liaising with customs to resolve any issues relating customs declaration

• Other tasks as assigned by line manager

About the Ideal Candidate

Academic Qualifications

• University degree in import/export, supply chain management or relevant.

• Customs importing/exporting declaration certificate is preferred.

Experience

• More than 4 years' experience with good background in customs declare of industrial manufacturing and certificate of origin of goods

• Experience in liquidation of customs declaration is preferred

• Experience in EPE, COO is preferred.

Competencies

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Effective at scheduling and balancing multiple priorities.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Development of logistics knowledge within the business.

• MS Dynamics proficiency is an advance
