Objective of the position (or process result)

The Supply Chain Planner owns end-to-end operational planning, bridging demand forecasting, supply fulfillment, and inventory optimization. This role works closely with Commercial, Regional Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to drive consensus, maximize stock availability, and lower operational costs.

Description of tasks

1. Demand Planning & S&OP Facilitation - 30%

Rolling Forecasts: Manage the monthly rolling demand forecasting process in close collaboration with Sales and Product Marketing to ensure alignment on market demand trends.

S&OP Execution: Lead pre-Demand Review meetings and facilitate Local S&OP discussions to drive operational consensus across commercial and operational stakeholders.

Strategic Alignment: Support long-term demand planning strategies aligned with business expansion and revenue growth objectives.

2. Supply Planning & Operations - 30%

Regional Coordination: Partner with regional supply chain teams to optimize supply planning, inventory positioning, product deliveries, and execution of new product introductions (NPI).

Purchase Order (PO) Management: Ensure prompt and accurate creation, issuance, and lifecycle management of all direct Purchase Orders in the SAP system.

Inter-Warehouse Logistics: Plan inter-warehouse inventory transfers efficiently to balance regional stock at optimal freight and handling costs.

Inbound Tracking: Continuously monitor, update, and communicate ETA timelines for all incoming international and domestic shipments.

3. Inventory Optimization & Reporting - 20%

Stock Health Reporting: Compile and publish weekly inventory status reports covering stock health, in-transit ETA status, and pipeline orders.

SLOB Mitigation: Identify, track, and manage Slow-Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory through root-cause analysis, implementing clear action plans for clearance or write-off minimization.

Stock Reservation: Oversee order-specific stock reservations to ensure high fulfillment rates for key accounts and committed orders.

4. Business Strategy & Continuous Improvement - 20%

Strategy Execution: Contribute to the development and execution of broader supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment across systems, processes, and resources.

Process Enhancement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, cut supply chain costs, improve customer satisfaction, and boost team performance.

Perform other ad-hoc supply chain, inventory, and logistics tasks as required to support business operations and team objectives.

Qualifications required

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering.

Experience: 3 – 7 years of experience in Demand/Supply Planning, Inventory Management, or S&OP coordination.

Specific knowledge: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel. Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Strong stakeholder management, structured analytical problem-solving, and cross-functional communication.
