Job Purpose

The Senior Trade Marketing - MT Channel role drives commercial growth and brand visibility across key Modern Trade accounts, specifically major electronics and consumer durables retail chains (e.g., Điện Máy Xanh, Nguyễn Kim, MediaMart). This role bridges Brand Marketing, Key Account Management (KAM), and field operations to design and execute high-impact shopper marketing strategies, trade promotions, and in-store execution standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. MT Channel Strategy & Commercial Planning

- Develop and execute joint trade marketing plans and annual activation calendars tailored for key electronics retail chains to drive sell-out and channel profitability.

- Manage and optimize the MT trade marketing budget, conducting ROI analyses on promotional activities, display rentals, and co-op marketing programs.

- Collaborate with Key Account Managers to align trade strategies with customer-specific business plans and annual contract negotiations (JBP).

2. In-Store Execution & Category Management

- Analyze channel sales data, market trends, and shopper insights within the consumer electronics sector to identify portfolio gaps and growth opportunities.

- Deploy and train Floor salesman, manage field sales to display POSM and push sell-out in stores.

- Set their KPIs, conduct routine store audits, and oversee third-party agencies to ensure strict quality control, budget adherence, and flawless execution.

- Monitor competitor promotional mechanics, pricing changes, and in-store visibility strategies to deliver actionable market intelligence.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Experience: 5+ years of trade marketing experience, with an emphasis on Modern Trade (MT) channels. Experience in Consumer Electronics, Electrical Appliances, or Consumer Goods is strongly preferred.

- Functional Skills:

+ Deep understanding of MT channel dynamics, electronics retail operations, and joint business planning.

+ Strong analytical capacity to translate sales data and ROI metrics into clear commercial strategies.

+ Proven track record in field workforce management, agency coordination, and event/activation execution.

+ Soft Skills: Fluent in professional English, with strong negotiation, cross-functional stakeholder management, and project management skills
