1. Job summary

• Help the Portfolio Management squad deliver meaningful outcomes each sprint by enabling effective ceremonies, addressing delivery obstacles, and fostering a high-performing and self-managed team.
• Establish consistent Agile practices across the squad by maintaining a healthy backlog, improving sprint predictability, ensuring clear delivery visibility, and promoting continuous improvement.
• Escalate structural or cross-squad issues to the Platform Lead / Agile Coach when required.
• 2. Main Responsibilities
• Organize and facilitate key squad activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Maintain a focused and sustainable delivery flow by monitoring work-in-progress, sprint commitments, and available team capacity
• Identify and resolve blockers related to data access, policies, system dependencies, and stakeholder decisions, escalating wider or cross-squad issues to the Platform Coach
• Partner with the Product Owner to ensure backlog quality, effective story decomposition, clear acceptance criteria, and appropriate prioritization
• Provide clear visibility of delivery status through sprint boards, burn-down tracking, delivery metrics, and blocked-item monitoring
• Facilitate retrospective discussions, define actionable improvements, and ensure agreed actions are implemented in following sprints
• Guide squad members in adopting Agile practices, establishing effective team norms, strengthening self-organization, and maintaining collaborative ways of working
• 3. Attributes
• Strategic mindset: Ensure sprint activities and squad priorities remain connected to POC objectives and targeted business outcomes
• Customer focus: Keep customer needs, pain points, and journey friction in consideration when shaping and prioritizing sprint activities
• Stakeholder management: Establish effective working partnerships with the Squad Lead, Product Owner, and relevant supporting teams to address issues and remove blockers
• Results orientation: Turn squad priorities into reliable sprint outcomes while supporting faster resolution of delivery issues
• Collaboration: Promote transparent communication, self-organized teamwork, and consistent adoption of Agile practices within the squad

1. Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead; exposure to financial services is an advantage
• Practical experience in planning and facilitating squad ceremonies through Jira, Confluence, or similar delivery platforms
