Sales Manager to lead business development and customer expansion for a global industrial machinery manufacturer in Vietnam.

Description

* Develop and execute the sales strategy for the Vietnam market, focusing on new customer acquisition and revenue growth.

* Identify, approach, and develop relationships with key customers across manufacturing, metal processing, engineering, and industrial sectors.

* Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline while ensuring opportunities are converted into sustainable business results.

* Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, solution selling, commercial negotiation, and contract closing.

* Work closely with regional teams, application specialists, and service teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

* Increase market penetration and strengthen brand positioning within Vietnam.

* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.

* Provide accurate sales forecasting and business reporting to regional management.

* Support long-term business development initiatives and contribute to building the local organization.

Profile

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

* Minimum 5-10 years of successful B2B industrial equipment, capital machinery, automation, machine tools, or manufacturing-related sales experience.

* Proven track record of generating new business and managing complex sales cycles.

* Strong hunter mentality with the ability to develop customers from prospecting through deal closure.

* Experience selling to metal fabrication, industrial manufacturing, automotive, precision engineering, or related industries is highly preferred.

* Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive business growth in a developing market.

* Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

* Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese.

* Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and capable of growing into a senior leadership role.
