About Onteractive

Onteractive (onteractive.eu) is a design studio in Hanoi building brands and products for global tech startups. We are growing from a small team into a studio of 30 creative builders, and we believe that when people are given room to build what they see potential in, they build. We are looking for someone to tend that spark and turn it into a system.

About the role

You will own the day-to-day people function of the studio, from hiring to onboarding, growth and culture. You report to the CEO, work closely with the CMO on studio rituals, and take part in every hiring decision. Admin support is available for contracts, insurance and payroll, so your time goes to growing people.

Key responsibilities

Recruitment and onboarding

• Own the hiring pipeline for designers and creatives (fresh graduates with strong potential, as well as senior talent): sourcing, screening, interviews, offers.
• Build and run a consistent hiring process that assesses creative drive, global mindset, ownership and builder instinct, not just craft.
• Run onboarding so new members are productive and feel they belong quickly.

Performance and growth

• Support the rollout of the studio’s career framework: evaluation criteria, performance reviews and clear 12 to 24 month growth paths for each level.
• Coordinate the personal challenge program, where team members take on real problems with a timeline, an owner and a moment to showcase results.
• Set up mentoring rhythms and regular feedback conversations with designers.

Culture and rituals

• Run and improve studio rituals with the CMO and the Studio Producer, making “living well” a weekly habit.
• Monitor team energy and engagement, and propose improvements before problems grow.

HR operations and policy

• Work with the CEO and Finance on compensation benchmarking, bonus and retention policies.
• Maintain HR policies and documents, and update them as the team scales.
• Coordinate with admin on labor contracts, social insurance and payroll, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese labor regulations.
• Maintain HR data and reports (headcount, hiring funnel, turnover) in ClickUp and spreadsheets.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in HR (generalist, recruitment, or people & culture), ideally in a creative, tech or agency environment.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
• Working knowledge of Vietnamese labor law, social insurance and HR processes.
• Good English (spoken and written); able to communicate with international founders and candidates.
• Genuine interest in psychology and in helping people grow. Able to hold honest, respectful conversations and keep people motivated afterward.
• Organized, proactive and comfortable owning tasks from start to finish.

Nice to have

• Experience designing performance review, career path or competency frameworks.
• Experience with employer branding or culture programs.
• Comfortable using tools and AI to build people-care processes (ClickUp, Notion, Google Workspace, ATS).
• Experience supporting people through difficult transitions (restructuring, role changes, offboarding).
• Background in psychology, HR or related fields.
