What you're going to build

→ The personal challenge system. It's where the spark shows up, and it's yours. The founders bring the problems from our clients and the market. You turn them into challenges that matter to each person and are feasible for the team, with a timeline, an owner, and a moment where the studio sees what got built.

→ The standard, made live. The founders are defining what a creative builder at Onteractive looks like at every level. You turn that into how we evaluate, onboard and grow people, and a path where everyone can see their next 12 to 24 months here. Everyone gets a real shot at the transition. You make it fair, visible and humane.

→ The hiring engine. Our filter is creative will + global literacy + ownership + builder instinct, not just craft. You own the pipeline and the process that finds fresh-out-of-school designers with the X-factor and senior talent ready to lead, and makes both want to say yes.

→ The rituals and the rhythm. Take the studio rituals from the founders' hands, keep what works, evolve what doesn't, and make "living well" a weekly habit with the Studio Producer. Creative energy isn't endless. Your job is to protect it.

→ The mechanics. Onboarding, mentoring rhythms, performance reviews, comp benchmarking with Finance, retention. And the policies that come with growth: what works at 10 people breaks at 20 and breaks differently at 30. You rewrite them before they break.

What People + Culture builder means here

You own the whole people function. You will get help to run contracts, insurance and payroll with you, so your time goes where it matters: growing people. You'll understand our designers and the mentality of creatives well enough that the team trusts you with the hard conversations.

→ We've written our own thinking on how people grow here. We don't think we're the best at it. We want someone who has developed their own method - base on understanding of psychology - for growing people, can show us where it worked, and will challenge ours.

→ Your method works on creatives, or you can show us how it adapts to them.

→ You leverage technology to build people care tools. You can't grow creative builders from the sidelines.

→ You've led people through a transition where not everyone made it, and you did it in a way people still respect you for.

→ You can hold a hard conversation with a designer and have them leave motivated.

→ Global literacy: you can read a team that works for startups across time zones, and hire people who can too.
