JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Accounting Management & Control

• Manage and maintain an effective accounting system in compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and Vietnamese laws.

• Organize, assign, guide, supervise, and review the professional work of accounting staff.

• Oversee accounting activities and cost control, including project-related and office expenses, in line with approved budgets.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

• Manage accounting systems, books, invoices, and supporting documents in a systematic manner.

• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with tax regulations and statutory tax obligations.

• Monitor budgets and cash flow to ensure effective use of company funds.

• Review the validity and appropriateness of supplier and client contracts, ensuring payments are made accurately, on time, and within approved budgets.

• Provide accounting and financial advice to other departments when required.

2. Team Management

• Take responsibility for the recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision, and performance evaluation of accounting team members.

• Provide professional guidance, industry knowledge, and soft-skill coaching to team members to support their development.

3. Accounting & Finance Processes

• Monitor and ensure compliance with the company's accounting and financial procedures.

• Develop, improve, and implement accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal control.

• Perform other related duties and assignments as requested by the direct manager.

4. Financial & Accounting Operations

• Review and approve purchase and sales contracts from an accounting and financial perspective.

• Review and approve budgets, purchase requests, and payment requests.

• Review and approve receipts, payment vouchers, and other relevant accounting documents to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

5. Tax Management

• Advise the Board of Directors on tax policies and related matters.

• Ensure periodic tax declarations and financial statements are accurately prepared and submitted within statutory deadlines.

• Work directly with tax authorities and relevant government agencies when required

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related field.

• Certificate in Chief Accountant training/professional qualification.

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a company with a dynamic business environment.

• Proficient in accounting software and financial/accounting systems.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial data.

• Strong understanding of accounting practices, tax regulations, and relevant Vietnamese laws.

• Good ability to identify financial risks and potential accounting issues.

• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
