About the role

The Compensation & Benefits Lead is responsible for implementing the company's compensation & benefits, income tax, insurance, and total rewards to ensure:

- Market competitiveness.

- Full compliance with Vietnamese laws and regulations.

- Effective support for both local employees and expatriates.

- Provision of data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to Management.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Tax Administration

- Process monthly payroll in system (MISA AMIS), including time sheet, salary, bonus, allowances, overtime, and deductions.

- Accurate calculation and declaration of Personal Income Tax (PIT), Insurance (Social, Health, Unemployment).

HR Systems & Report analytics

- Manage and optimize HRIS systems (MISA AMIS).

- Prepare annual personnel cost budgets.

- Prepare & analyze monthly report including headcount, salary & benefit costs.

- Coordinate with the Finance team to reconcile payroll and personnel costs

Benefits Management

- Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, annual health checks, and other welfare programs.

- Conduct compensation benchmarking against relevant market data.

- Advise Management on compensation structures and internal equity.

- Evaluate cost-effectiveness and market competitiveness of benefits programs.

- Liaise with insurance providers and other benefit vendors.

Expatriate Compensation & Mobility

- Process compensation and benefits programs for expatriate employees.

- Advise and cordinate with vendor to process Work Permits, Temporary Residence Cards, and expatriate PIT obligations.

Compliance & Legal Advisory

- Monitor and update regulations related to labor law, insurance law, personal income tax, foreign employee regulations.

- Participate in resolving employee relations matters and disciplinary cases.

- Prepare documentation and liaise with government authorities during audits and inspections.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

- Clearly communicate and explain compensation and benefits policies to employees and Management.

- Handle sensitive compensation matters with strong persuasion skills.

- Communicate effectively in English with expatriates and senior leadership.

Yêu cầu công việc

Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Finance & Accounting.

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, and at least 1 years of management level (Team Lead or Supervisor).

- Must have experience processing payroll in HRIS (MISA AMIS is preferred)

- Experience dealing with tax authorities, social insurance agencies, and labor inspectors.

- Experience in manufacturing, technology, or high-growth startup is preferred.

Technical Knowledge:

- In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese Labor Law, Social Insurance Law, Personal Income Tax regulations, foreign labor regulations.

- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets.

- Hands-on experience with MISA AMIS HRM or equivalent HRIS systems.

Language Skills: Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

Core Competencies:

- Excellent presentation and persuasion skills.

- Strong analytical and logical thinking, attention to detail.

- Proactive, accountable, and high pressure adaptable.

- Professional certifications such as C&B, Total Rewards.

- Experience in designing salary structures and job grading systems.
