Working location: Tan Tao Industrial Park, Binh Tan

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• To lead the warehouse staff in Tan Tao warehouse in providing excellent service to customers, principals and internal departments.

• To protect Company assets, ensure production efficiency and motivate the staff while completing the tasks within target deadlines are the main focus of this position.

• To manage devices resources and make sure validation will be performed as planned for South and

Central warehouses.

• To provide supports and handle warehouse audits for South warehouses.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Overall Warehouse Management:

• Makes the warehouse in the highest level of performance while motivating the warehouse staff (a team of 300 people including 150 third party labelling staffs). Act as role model in providing excellent service to external and internal customers.

• Regular reviews of warehouse productivity and find ways of improvements.

• Promotes and implements cost efficiency.

• Identifies warehouse functions in SAP system that can be used for efficient running of the warehouse.

• Suggests enhancements or revisions in SAP to better run the warehouse.

2. Ensure all SOPs are followed strictly:

• Receives and put-away of stocks.

• Puts labels, stickers and prints to the stocks which are necessary before selling including operations of the ink-jet machines.

• Automatic and manual replenishments from bulk storage to picking locations.

• Picks, checks, packs and zones of products.

• Dispatches of stocks to Delivery Men and forwarders for delivery to customers from the Central Region to Mekong Delta including Hanoi branch transfers.

• Maintains correct temperature including acceptable ways of recording temperature and humidity. This also includes validation of the whole set-up for the cold chain products Nationwide.

• Efficient process in the returns section

• Manages overflow warehouse

• Regularly meets with principals for general and specific issues related to warehouse functions and issues.

• Coordinates with other departments on regular basis in relation to matters concerning the functions above.

3. Operations project:

• Handles projects that relates to functions mentioned above or other projects that necessitate assistance.

4. Internal/ External Audit:

• Provides supports and handle warehouse audits for South and Central warehouses.

5. Validation:

• Manages device resources and make sure validation will be performed as planned for South and central warehouses.

6. Team Management:

• Develops staff in the department and prepares them to be better aiming for career and personal growths including succession planning.

• Be responsible for the maintenance of Good Storage and Distribution Practices.

1. Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Economics or similar fields.

2. Relevant Experience

• Experience to date will most likely been gained in a volume distribution environment such as pharmaceutical wholesaler, food or grocery. Experience gained with other third party contractors will be held in equal regards.

• As well as a detailed knowledge of logistics, candidates must possess good all round general business skills and knowledge of basic IT systems.

• Two years’ experience as Warehouse/Logistics/Transport Manager or four years as Senior Supervisory position for a company with high standard storage/handling or manufacturing requirement.

• Managed a group more than 130 staff.

3. Competencies:

• Leadership skills: Leads and motivates warehouse teams with fairness, respect, and empathy; delegates effectively while understanding operations

• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS, ideally SAP)

• Familiarity or adeptness with systems such as ISO, GMP, GDP, GSDP

• Communication skills; Communicates with confidence to principals, customers, auditors, and management.

• Problem solving: Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and cross-functional coordination.

• Overcome difficulties from operations and complicated business model.

• Well support and collaboration with the other teams and departments.
