The opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Specialist to lead and optimize production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation within our manufacturing operations in Vietnam. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient project execution and timely delivery of high-quality products.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop, implement, and maintain production plans and schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.

• Analyze production capacity, material availability, and labor resources to identify bottlenecks and drive effective solutions.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Production teams to align planning activities with business objectives.

• Monitor production performance against plans, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to ensure delivery commitments are met.

• Manage and optimize inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to balance availability and cost efficiency.

• Prepare and present reports on production performance, forecast accuracy, and key planning metrics to support management decision-making.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning process optimization, operational efficiency, and cost reduction, while leveraging ERP/SAP systems for data-driven planning.

• Coach and support junior planning team members, fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring compliance with applicable internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Your background:

• You hold a Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.

• Proven expertise in ERP systems (SAP PP/MM preferred), advanced planning tools, and manufacturing planning processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound business decisions.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Professional proficiency in English and solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and supply chain best practices; APICS certifications (CPIM/CSCP) are highly desirable.
