About the Role

• We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our development team and build, maintain, and modernize high-performance backend systems and services.
• The role involves both maintaining existing systems and helping migrate legacy components toward newer service-oriented architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NET.
• Build REST APIs, gRPC services, and real-time communication systems.
• Work with SQL Server, Redis, and other data stores.
• Develop scalable and reliable asynchronous and concurrent systems.
• Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and production issues.
• Maintain and modernize legacy .NET Framework applications.
• Write and maintain unit tests and automated tests for business logic and backend services.
• Participate in system design, code reviews, testing, and technical discussions.
• Work with Docker, IIS/Nginx, and service deployment environments.
• Integrate authentication and authorization using JWT.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, QA, and infrastructure teams.

Your Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Strong C# and .NET experience.
• Experience developing backend APIs and services.
• Good understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency.
• Good SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience writing unit tests and understanding testable code design.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and improve existing systems.

• Maintain tests as part of refactoring and feature development.
• Understand the difference between unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Use automated tests to prevent regressions and improve confidence when modifying legacy code.
• Follow clean-code and SOLID principles to make components easier to test and maintain.
