Job Purpose

Responsible for the day-to-day production plans and schedules. Initiates necessary follow up in timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

➢ Planning and coordinate of Production Schedule to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of the available resources.

➢ Work order is generated when the customer order is initiated from customer service, ship package is printed out and the reference drawing is attached.

➢ Ensures material availability prior to accepting the order. If material is not available, the revised schedule ship date is channeled to appropriate parties. Notification of material requirements to appropriate inventory personnel.

➢ Studies production schedules and loading, estimates man-hour requirements and makes the adjustments to ensure smooth production capacity and workable program for production.

➢ Monitor schedule adherence, shortages, backlog, expedites and OTIF risks; proactively escalate issues

➢ Specifies all Bill of Material, operation sequence on routing, defined product structure and creates part number for products when required.

➢ Liaise with vendors for tooling, ink, raw materials suppliers as well as other material needed to support the label manufacturing.

➢ Liaise with customer service as well as sales personnel when require in order processing.

➢ Coordinate with WHS for raw material usage.

➢ Raw material and demand planning

➢ Participates in teams and task forces within both manufacturing and the company when required.

➢ Abides by company safety policies and procedures, including general housekeeping.

➢ Ensures consistent quality of output by following documented ISO procedures.

➢ To support and comply with the Brady Corporation Global Policies, Brady Policy, Quality Policy,

Environmental Policy, Safety & Health Policy and other organization policies that are relevant to job functions. To responsible, accountable and committed to fulfill the codes and statements prescribed in the policies.

➢ Participate in Continuous Improvement, S&OP/demand-capacity alignment

Requisite Criteria

➢ Degree/ Diploma in any discipline field with 2-3 years of planning experience in manufacturing environment

Skills

➢ Computer literate

➢ Good problem solving skill

➢ Knowledge in SAP and MRP system is an added advantages

➢ Knowledge on ISO 9001:2000, ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001 and SPC are added advantages

➢ Mature, dedicated, highly committed

➢ Able to analyze data and manage multiple priorities

➢ Able to excel in a pressurized working environment
