ABOUT THE COMPANY

• Our client is an international FDI manufacturing company with a lean and growing operation in Vietnam.
• With a current headcount of around 25 employees, the company offers a hands-on working environment where the Chief Accountant will have strong ownership of accounting, finance, tax compliance, EPE regulations, manufacturing cost control and ERP management.
• The role works closely with the General Manager and overseas Finance team, making it a suitable opportunity for an experienced accountant who enjoys a lean organization and high level of responsibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounting & Financial Management: Manage the full accounting and finance function, including monthly/yearly closing, financial and management reporting, cash flow, AR/AP, payroll, accruals and payments.
• Tax, EPE & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with VAS, IFRS, tax, VAT, customs, transfer pricing and EPE regulations; work with tax authorities, customs, banks and external auditors.
• Manufacturing & Cost Accounting: Control inventory, production costs and cost accounting; coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing and Logistics to ensure accurate financial data.
• Financial Analysis & Business Support: Prepare financial analysis, cash flow forecasts and management reports; provide insights and recommendations to the General Manager and Head Office.
• ERP & Internal Control: Ensure accurate accounting transactions and reporting through ERP, preferably Odoo; maintain accounting procedures, internal controls and data integrity.
• Team & Stakeholder Management: Supervise and support the accounting team; coordinate with internal departments, Head Office and external stakeholders to ensure smooth Finance operations.

Yêu cầu công việc

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

Chief Accountant Certificate is mandatory.

Minimum 8 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.

Strong experience in EPE accounting and tax compliance is required.

Experience with manufacturing cost accounting, inventory and production-related finance.

Experience working with an ERP system; Odoo experience is an advantage.

Good understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.

Experience in financial reporting and working with external auditors/tax authorities.

Good English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to work directly with a foreign General Manager and overseas Finance team.

Previous experience in a lean organization or company with fewer than 200 employees is preferred.

Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

High level of ownership, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
