Summary of Position, Responsibility and Authority

The Chief Accountant maintains excellent oversight of all financial reporting, tax compliance, and cash flow management, working independently to lead the accounting department, and provide clear strategic guidance to Board of Director.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist General Director, on a daily basis, in assets management and maintain a control over revenue, expenditure and cash flow of operation businesses (including Hotel Business and Property Management on villas and apartments)

• Daily work with GM, HODs to solve operations issues, revise Policies & Procedures, give advice in term of finance to ensure budgetary limits are met, proper operation funds are used.

• Responsible to ensure disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to company standard.

• Prepare operation financial projection and financial analysis to support Management in developing operation business plan & decision making.

• Prepare yearly operation budget.

• Ensure timely and accurate management and financial reporting.

• Control all aspects of accounting and tax reporting activities of operation businesses.

• Accountant on Payroll, Social Insurance, PIT declaration.

• Supervise and manage operation accounting team. Responsible for coaching, developing and conducting performance evaluations of all supervised staff.

• Work directly with related 3rd parties when required including but not limited to auditors, bankers, tax officers, etc.

• Partner with the Procurement/Purchasing department to review vendor contracts, payment terms, and market list pricing for fresh ingredients, operating supplies, and equipment (OS&E/FF&E).

• Other tasks as required by the Board of Director.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor degree in Accounting/ Finance.

• 5-8 years accounting or auditing experience, with a minimum of 3 years as Assistant Financial Controller / Chief Accountant. Hospitality experience is an advantage.

• Experience with Smile System.

• Effective communication skills and excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Proficient at MS Excel.

• Strong knowledge of VAS, Financial and Statistical Analysis, Tax and Legal Regulations.

• Able to work under high-pressure, self-motivated, detail & results oriented.

• Good management skills including people management skill.
