ROLE SCOPE

The Supply Planning Specialist is responsible for building and implementing short and mid-term production plan, developing supply planning best practice for the cost optimization while meeting the level of customer satisfaction. This is the liaison between Sales & operations and whole supply chain. Main tasks are handle MPS, MRP, Master data, BOM

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

1.Safety

- Adhere and comply with all safety and health procedures and regulations, and to inform the EHS team when there is an unsafe act, situation or practice being observed. Lead planning team to implement HUNs and Walk&Talk requirement together.

2.Master Production Scheduling (MPS)

- Be responsible for developing Master Production scheduling in short and mid-term to maximize production capacity, inventory efficiency and products availability to meet customers demand

- Develop weekly and Monthly Production schedule to ensure optimal utilization of Manufacturing resource

- Optimize production capacity by reducing set up time and downtime, grouping similar product families to improve production efficiency

- Lead weekly production meeting to implement and align on the weekly production plan

- Arrange short and mid-term production schedule for both semi-products and non-semi products

- Participate in NPD process for launching new products

3.Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

- Manage MRP to ensure raw material and packaging, Coating are ready for production, ordering the right quantity at the right time

- Raise PR for packaging, Coating and raw material for production in timely manner

- Release raw material purchase plans to optimize warehouse capacity and prevent inbound shipments from exceeding plant storage limits

- Minimize the aging stocks for FG, Raw Material and packaging, proactively identify and coordinate with relevant departments for finding solutions to reduce slow-moving inventory

- Maintain and update master data, BOM in the system

4.Production Orders

- Create production orders in the system.

5.Others

- Conducted month reconciliation during month-end closing month to identify gaps between the actual consumption vs standard BOM

- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Planning and Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Consumer Goods/FMCG or industrial/continuous-process manufacturing is preferred.

- Familiarity with glass or packaging manufacturing processes is an advantage.

- Strong business analytics skills, including data investigation, analysis, insight generation, and recommendation development.

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Strong knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems and MRP.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Hands-on experience with Power Query, Power BI, and Power Automate is required.

Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Exact, or similar platforms.

- Good command of both written and spoken English and Vietnamese.

- Strong internal customer service mindset, with the ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
