Sourcing Senior Engineer

Job purpose:

Handle general procurement activities to support production and product localization

Responsibility

• Supplier portfolio management, supplier performance evaluation, supplier risk management, supplier base optimization, contract/agreement negotiation

• Cost reduction through cost analysis, negotiation, localization, centralization, cost module and other VA/VE projects, to achieve annual cost saving target

• Lead time reduction and other continuous improvement projects

• Supplier relationship management, organize supplier business review meeting

• Supplier audits, work together with SQE and other functions

• Work with PM, PE and R&D engineers to support new projects, to achieve project objectives like cost, delivery and quality etc.

• Other jobs assigned by management

Required qualification:

- Bachelor degree, Industry Engineering, Automation, Electronic, Mechanical, Logistics, and Business Administration are preferred.

- Certificate holder of CPM, CPSM, CIPS is an advantage

Skill

- 3+ years experience in sourcing/purchasing/supplier management. Manufacturing background in electronics industry, mechanical industry, automotive industry, or switch industry is preferred

- Experience in at least two industries of PCBA/stamping/molding/plating/machining

- Experience in project management is an advantage

Competencies and Others:

• Good written and spoken English, this is a mandatory requirement, Chinese is an advantage

• Good negotiation skill;

• Teamwork and communication skill;
