Senior Sales Executive / Assistant Sales Manager (Chemicals Raw Material)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets, revenue growth and profitability.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while actively developing new customers and business opportunities.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular visits, product presentations and commercial discussions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and new business opportunities, and provide updates to Management.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, activity reports and business development updates.
• Handle pricing negotiations, customer complaints and payment collection effectively.
• Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to ensure sufficient inventory.
• Manage sales operations and customer service to ensure smooth daily execution.
• Support the Sales Manager / Business Unit Head in developing sales strategies and achieving business objectives.
• Guide and support junior sales team members where required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Sales Manager / Business Unit Head.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Food Science / Technology or related field preferred.
• Preferably 5 - 7 years of relevant sales, technical sales or business development experience in chemicals or related industries.
• Experience or knowledge in agrochemicals will be an added advantage
• Good communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Proactive, results-oriented, independent and a good team player.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas as required.
