• Audit Planning & Strategy: Formulate and execute the annual risk-based internal audit plan for Vietnam entities, ensuring alignment with Group strategic goals and HKEX compliance requirements.
• Independent Execution: Lead complex, sensitive, and high-risk operational, financial, IT, and compliance audits across Vietnam manufacturing/commercial units independently without day-to-day local supervision.
• Team Leadership: Mentor, manage, and supervise the Vietnam Internal Audit Officer and local audit personnel, reviewing working papers and ensuring quality control.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare formal, high-quality audit reports for local management and Group IA in Hong Kong; present audit findings, risk ratings, and pragmatic action plans to senior management.
• Regulatory & Risk Oversight: Monitor regulatory and tax changes in Vietnam (e.g., local labor laws, tax compliance, customs regulations) and assess their impact on group risk profiles.
• Fraud Investigations: Lead or participate in special reviews, fraud investigations, or whistleblowing inquiries in coordination with Group IA teams.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain constructive relationships with local operational heads while safeguarding independence and objectivity; act as a trusted advisor on internal controls.

1. Requirements & Qualifications
2. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Corporate Governance, or related fields.
3. Experience: 5 to 10+ years of progressive audit experience, with at least 3–4 years in a managerial or supervisory role within a Big 4 firm or a regional listed company.
4. Certifications: Mandatory professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA, or ACCA. CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) is a plus.
5. Skills & Competencies:
6. Exceptional independent judgment, leadership, and project management skills.
7. Deep knowledge of internal audit standards (IIA), risk management frameworks, and internal controls (SOX/COSO).
8. Familiarity with Hong Kong regulatory expectations and corporate governance standards is highly desirable.
9. Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
10. Language: Bilingual fluency in English and Vietnamese is mandatory. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage for reporting back to HK headquarters.
