Job Summary

The Internal Audit Officer will assist the Vietnam Internal Audit Assistant Manager in executing risk-based operational, financial, and compliance audits across the company's business units/ subsidiaries in Vietnam. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to build a career in corporate governance within a multinational listed company environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit Execution: Execute assigned audit fieldwork in accordance with the annual internal audit plan, IIA (Institute of Internal Auditors) standards, and group policies.
• Testing & Evaluation: Test internal controls, assess operational efficiency, verify financial accuracy, and check compliance with local laws and group-wide standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Working Papers: Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented audit working papers and evidence to support audit findings and conclusions.
• Issue Identification: Identify internal control deficiencies, operational bottlenecks, or compliance gaps, and assist in formulating practical recommendations.
• Follow-Up: Track and follow up on the implementation status of audit recommendations from previous audit cycles.
• Ad-Hoc Reviews: Participate in ad-hoc investigations, operational reviews, or special projects as assigned by the Vietnam IA Manager or Group IA Manager.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant audit experience, preferably gained from Big 4 accounting firms or internal audit departments of multinational corporations (MNCs) / listed companies.
• Certifications: Professional qualifications (or in progress) such as ACCA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO).
• High level of integrity, professional skepticism, and attention to detail.
• Language: Proficiency in both Vietnamese and English (written and spoken); ability to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese is a strong advantage.
