ABOUT YOUR ROLE: To put into practice EHS activites in compliance with Local,regulations, customers as well as Avery Dennison corporate policies. The incumbent will deploy EHS KPI to achieve of all EHS performance objectives. The incumbent will effectively coordinate with all departments to run activities, programs and develop processes in a manner consistent with role expectations and ensure regular adherence to standards while promoting a safe, clean and productive workplace. This role is not limited in factory but in MSEA region.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

*EHS (60%)

1. Deploy & Drive EHS & Environmental KPIs:Deploy EHS KPIs to all site operational; strictly monitor progress and provide timely technical support to ensure 100% on-time achievement of site and corporate sustainability goals.

2. Develop & Maintain EHS Management Systems:

- Assist EHS Management in developing, maintaining, and continually improving integrated Social, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems (complying with Higg FEM, ZDHC Chemical Management System, and Avery Dennison compliance standards).

- Ensure strict compliance with local environmental regulations and customer/brand requirements (covering wastewater, hazardous waste, air emissions, chemical management, ZDHC/BVe3 reporting), maintaining zero legal citations, fines, or environmental violations.

3. Fire Safety & Emergency Preparedness System:Lead and collaborate with the site Fire Fighting Team to maintain full compliance of fire prevention, protection, and suppression systems with legal and customer standards, aiming to achieve Zero Fire incidents and Zero Lost-Time Accidents.

4. Support Management of Change (MOC) & EHS Risk Control: Implement and support the Management of Change (MOC) process to proactively evaluate health, safety, and environmental risks for any new machinery, process, or chemical introduction, ensuring workplace control measures are effective.

5. Establish EHS Standards & SOPs: Participate in developing and updating EHS operational procedures, Industrial Hygiene standards, Chemical Handling SOPs, Environmental Work Instructions, and job risk assessments (JRA/JSA).

6. Plan and execute site-wide EHS & Environmental training programs to fulfill legal and business requirements, with clearly defined scopes:

- Statutory Safety Training: 100% compliance with Legal requirements

- Internal EHS Training: Conduct internal onboarding for new hires, Chemical Safety & ZDHC/SDS guidelines, Hazardous & Solid Waste Sorting, Chemical Spill Response & Emergency Evacuation, Energy/Water Conservation awareness, Life Saving Rules, and Behavior-Based Safety (BBS).

7. Incident Investigation, Mentoring & Environmental Spill Control:

- Act as a technical resource and mentor to facility safety/environmental committees. Lead thorough investigations for all chemical spills, environmental releases, injuries, and near-misses to implement robust Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action Plans (CAPA).

8. EHS Advisory & Point of Contact Site Compliance:

- Serve as the daily subject-matter expert for site leadership and line managers on EHS matters, providing guidance on handling Avery Dennison (AD) compliance audits, customer reviews, and government inspections.

- Lead or support designated regional EHS initiatives, carbon footprint reduction, energy/water efficiency, or waste minimization projects as assigned by the Regional EHS Manager.

*Social compliance: (40%)

1. Compliance Program & Management System:

- Manage performance for Compliance of Suppliers/ Subcontractors (external partner) to comply with Local Laws & RB Requirements as assigned by Supervisor.

- Monitor and develop a sustainable compliance system for including process, set up annual audit and SOP to strengthen readiness of audit.

- Drive the implementation of new Compliance programs/requirements from Global & Customer by providing training and coaching during deployment to cross-functional teams.

2. Reporting & Documentation:

- Provide Compliance advice to external teams in reviewing & completing the Compliance documents requested by Customers/ AD in house.

- Issue the Compliance internal audit & monthly reports

- Involve and follow up with cross-functional teams in Corrective action and ensure CAP closes on-time.

- Track and regularly report the status of regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives as well as the related Compliance law.

3. Training, Resource & Counsel:

- Build up Compliance Training Materials (Presentation, Handbook, Manual,...)

- Provides advice and counsel to cross-functional Teams HR & EHS principles and concepts to prevent compliance issues

- Implements compliance training for new regulatory/global/customer requirements for Inhouse AD sites & subcontractors."

Yêu cầu công việc

- Instructor certification in accordance with Decree 44/2016/ND-CP is an advantage.

- Practical experience in chemical management (CIL, SDS, GHS) is an advantage.

- Experience working with government agencies is an advantage.

- Minimum 3-5 years of EHS experience with progressive work assignments.

- Good at English skills

- Strong commitment, and EHS management system.

- Advanced professional EHS certification (OSHA or Nebosh IGC or equivalent certificates) is prefered.

- Experience on IPC Management or Projects is an advantage.

- Experience in life safety codes: Life Saving rules, training programs, and Industrial hygiene.

- Experience on SLCP, Higg FEM, ISO 14001, ZDHC is an advantage.

- Good knowledge of Machinery safety and Fire safety.

- Good problem solving skills, communication, teamwork and flexibility.

- Good at applicable Microsoft Office, Google Apps and function specific software.
