The Applications and Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing and delivering customised test solutions for leading technology and industrial customers. This role combines technical consulting, system design, and project delivery, providing end-to-end ownership from customer requirements through deployment and optimisation.

Description

As an Applications and Systems Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

* Collaborating with customers and internal teams to develop customised test and measurement solutions.

* Gathering technical requirements and translating them into system specifications and project deliverables.

* Designing, integrating, and validating automated test systems for analog, digital, mixed-signal, and RF applications.

* Leading technical projects from solution design through deployment, ensuring quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.

* Evaluating system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and recommending optimisation improvements.

* Integrating hardware, software, and instrumentation into complete turnkey solutions using industry-leading test platforms.

* Providing technical support, training, and expertise to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

* Working closely with global teams and customers to deliver innovative solutions across diverse engineering and manufacturing environments.

Profile

A successful Applications and Systems Engineer should have:

* A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

* At least 3 years of experience in Applications Engineering, Systems Engineering, Semiconductor Test Engineering, or a similar technical role.

* Hands-on experience in semiconductor test and validation, ideally within RF, mixed-signal, power management, sensor, or wafer test applications.

* Strong programming skills in C/C++, C#, Java, Python, or similar languages for test automation and software development.

* Experience working with automated test equipment (ATE) and electronic test instrumentation.

* Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver practical engineering solutions.

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional teams.

* A proactive mindset with the ability to manage projects, balance priorities, and drive successful project delivery.

* Experience with NI PXI/PXIe, LabVIEW, or TestStand would be advantageous.
