DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Technical Sourcing

-Review and understand BOMs, engineering drawings, specifications, and material requirements.

-Identify equivalent or alternative parts that meet the required specifications.

-Source new suppliers locally and globally for spare parts, components, and consumables.

-Conduct technical evaluations of supplier products and capabilities.

B. Supplier Management

-Develop and maintain a qualified supplier database.

-Perform supplier assessments and qualification processes.

-Coordinate supplier audits and quality evaluations.

-Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery.

C. Cost Optimization

-Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.

-Conduct cost analysis and negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.

-Drive cost reduction initiatives through supplier development and alternative sourcing.

-Support value engineering projects and identify opportunities for standardization.

D. Cross-functional Coordination

-Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Quality, and Procurement teams.

-Resolve technical and quality issues with suppliers.

-Support urgent sourcing requirements for critical spare parts.

REQUIREMENTS

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

- 3–5 years' experience in sourcing spare parts, industrial equipment, or manufacturing components.

- Strong knowledge of BOM structures, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.

- Ability to identify equivalent parts and alternative suppliers.

- Experience in supplier qualification and vendor development.

- Strong negotiation and cost-analysis skills.

- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.

* Preferred Experience

- Industrial machinery spare parts.

- Manufacturing or maintenance environment.

- ISO 9001 supplier qualification processes.

- Global sourcing and import/export procurement.
