ROLE SUMMARY:

Own organic discovery for VibeX, with AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) as your primary focus. Our customers find tools like ours in AI answers (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini), on Google, and across communities, video, and developer platforms such as Reddit, YouTube, X, GitHub, and tool directories. Roughly 70% of your focus is AEO — making sure VibeX is recommended and cited in AI answers; the other 30% is traditional SEO and the other channels that bring people to VibeX. You are not "an SEO who uses AI tools" — you are an AI-powered growth operator who plans, tests, and ships optimizations end-to-end, and who figures out AEO by learning and experimenting, because no playbook exists yet.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. SEO Strategy & Execution

• Plan and execute SEO across technical, on-page, and off-page for our product site, blog, and documentation

• Run keyword research and topic clusters mapped to the customer journey (awareness → comparison → trial)

• Audit crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, site structure, and internal links; work with developers to ship fixes

• Build quality backlinks and presence on communities and tool directories (Reddit, Product Hunt, G2, GitHub, etc.)

2. AEO / AI Search Visibility

• Study how ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini select and cite sources — and turn findings into a repeatable optimization process

• Build a set of target prompts and questions; track brand mentions, citations, and share of voice versus competitors

• Optimize content so AI can easily retrieve and quote it: direct answers, FAQs, comparison tables, original data, and Schema / structured data

• Strengthen off-site brand signals (third-party mentions, reviews, forums) that AI models trust.

3. Content & Collaboration

• Brief and review content with AI and work with the content team to optimize structure, quality, and accuracy

• Prioritize English-language content for global markets

• Coordinate with product and developers on landing pages, docs, and technical implementation

4. Analytics & Testing

• Run structured experiments (before/after, A/B) on content format, structure, and distribution; document results

• Track traffic, rankings, AI visibility, trial sign-ups, and conversions; report monthly with clear next actions

• Terminate what doesn't perform — bias toward output and iteration over planning

5. AI Workflow Innovation

• Continuously discover and integrate AI tools and automation (e.g., Claude, Gemini, scripts, Make/n8n) into daily SEO/AEO operations

• Document and share repeatable AI-powered SEO/AEO playbooks with the global team

• Provide real-use-case feedback to the VibeX team based on your daily workflows.

Experience

• 2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience (SaaS, tech, or English-language content preferred) — you have executed and shipped optimizations, not just planned them

• Solid command of on-page SEO, technical SEO, content SEO, and Schema Markup

• Working proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, and at least one tool such as Ahrefs or Semrush

• Basic understanding of how AI search works (LLMs, retrieval, citations); small-scale AEO experiments or tracking count

AI & Self-Learning (Critical)

• Daily, hands-on user of AI tools for research, writing, analysis, and workflow automation

• Able to demonstrate something you taught yourself and applied in real work — AEO is new, so self-driven learning matters more than years of experience

• Strong judgment over AI output — you know when it's wrong, off-tone, or inaccurate, and you fix it

Language

• English required (fluency) — able to read, write, and optimize content for global English- speaking audiences

• Japanese or Chinese proficiency is an advantage

• Self-disciplined with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility

• Data-driven: decisions backed by numbers, results explained clearly

• Fast iteration: hypothesize, ship, measure, learn

HIRING PROCESS

Step 2 — Pre-Interview Assignment: Upon shortlisting, you complete two assignments and submit them before the interview:

1. A one-page SEO audit of a website or page of your own choice, with prioritized findings and recommended fixes

2. An AEO optimization plan for the same site: target questions/prompts, proposed content and structure changes, and how you would measure AI visibility.

All assignments must be completed in English. This is not just a test — it's your chance to show how you think and work.

• Step 3 - Interview: The interview will be conducted in English. We will discuss your assignment, how you approach SEO/AEO and learn new things, and real cases you have owned.

• Step 4 - Decision: We will communicate the outcome after the interview.
