Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to oversee supplier quality performance, drive continuous improvement at Contract Manufacturers, and manage customer quality issues to ensure high satisfaction and smooth project launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality issues and drive 8D-based corrective and preventive actions.

• Support GCQ with sorting, RMA handling, and fast 8D responses for customer complaints.

• Collaborate with MPE to monitor supplier performance and improve yield and capacity.

• Lead on-site process audits and regular supplier QMS audits; drive continuous improvement.

• Support customer audits and follow up on NC closures.

• Lead AQP qualification activities for new projects (FAI, DVPR, QP, MSA, PPAP, etc.).

• Conduct shipment assessments and deviation reviews for NPI and mass production.

• Manage supplier PCNs and ensure proper validation prior to implementation.

• Support inter-site project transfers with complete qualification planning.

• Perform internal audits to maintain Virtual Plant’s QMS.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Bachelor’s degree

• Preferred: Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience

• Required:

• 5+ years in quality

• 3+ years in supplier quality management

• Preferred: Connector assembly or electronics manufacturing experience

Skills

• Strong knowledge of 8D, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC

• Familiar with stamping, molding, and assembly processes

• Good GD&T understanding

• Fluent English

• Knowledge of ISO 9001

• Strong communication, integrity, teamwork

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

• Preferred: Connector manufacturing knowledge
