Job Summary

• 1.     Lead and drive Health, Environment, Safety, Security, Quality (HESQ), Product Stewardship and Compliance initiatives across the business unit, ensuring alignment with Yara standards, local regulations and global operational excellence requirements. Responsible for achieving HESQ performance targets, maintaining management systems and certifications, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety and quality culture throughout the value chain.
• 2.     Support operational excellence by ensuring safe and efficient warehouse operations, inventory integrity, supplier performance management and continuous improvement of logistics and warehouse processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• 1. HESQ (Health, Environment, Safety, Security, Quality) & Compliance
• Lead and coordinate activities required to achieve the HESQ Index target as defined in the Business Plan.
• Act as the focal point and subject matter expert for all Yara HESQ domains within the business unit.
• Ensure compliance with Yara Operational Excellence, HESQ requirements, policies, standards and procedures.
• Develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve HESQ procedures, work instructions and management systems.
• Drive Product Stewardship implementation and compliance throughout the entire business value chain, including suppliers, logistics providers, business partners and customers.
• Plan and conduct internal and external HESQ and Product Stewardship training programs.
• Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems and required certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, International Fertilizer Association (IFA) standards and other applicable HESQ requirements.
• Coordinate internal audits, external audits and certification processes, ensuring timely closure of findings and corrective actions.
• Ensure all Yara products comply with local regulatory requirements, including National Technical Regulations (QCVN), product conformity registrations, product circulation permits and enterprise standards.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely implementation of changes affecting HESQ, Product Stewardship and product compliance.
• Conduct HESQ risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective action follow-up.
• Ensure supplier and contractor compliance with Yara policies, standards, contractual obligations and Code of Conduct.
• Support the development of a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset across the organization.
• 2. Operations & Operations Excellence
• Ensure safe, secure and compliant operations across 3PL warehouses and logistics activities handling Yara products.
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation, physical stock counts, and validation of warehouse and logistics service invoices in accordance with approved contracts and tariffs.
• Coordinate product movements, warehouse operations and customer deliveries to ensure efficient and reliable execution.
• Monitor the performance of 3PLs, suppliers and service providers, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and compliance with Yara standards and HESQ requirements.
• Support local sourcing and procurement of raw materials through supplier identification, qualification, due diligence and performance monitoring.
• Conduct Integrity Due Diligence reviews for suppliers, contractors and business partners.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Operational Excellence and PDCA principles to enhance efficiency, service quality and cost effectiveness.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE, Quality, Compliance, Operations, Supply Chain or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, ISO management systems, Product Stewardship and regulatory compliance.
• Professional certification as ISO 9001 and/or ISO 45001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor preferred. Experience in implementing, maintaining and auditing management systems is highly desirable.
• Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and third-party logistics management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, SUN or equivalent).
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong training, influencing and stakeholder management capabilities.

Working Conditions

• Office-based with regular travel to warehouses, business partners, customer sites and external stakeholders.
