Tuyển dụng R&D Specialist in dairy, fermentation or protein-based products tại Hồ Chí Minh

This is an European manufacturing and trading company

We are installing an ( Multi-Layer Cooker )MLC pilot unit at a partner R&D laboratory in Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnamese food and dairy manufacturers will use it to test their own products on our technology. You will be representative on site: you run the pilot unit, lead customer trials and help turning trial results into sales.

What you will do

Operate, maintain and keep the MLC pilot unit ready for trials.

Plan and run customer trials, including side-by-side comparisons with conventional processing.

Develop and optimise products on the MLC together with the partner lab's formulation team.

Own the MLC process settings and protect confidential know-how on site.

Record trial data accurately and write clear trial reports for customers and the company

Prepare the technical input for each customer's business case: product quality, shelf life, yield, energy and water use.

Support the sales team in customer meetings, presentations and tastings.

Ensure food safety and hygiene standards during all trials.

Report regularly to the company in Vietnam and headquarters in Europe

Yêu cầu công việc

A master's degree or higher in food biotechnology, biochemistry, food science or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience in food product development in an R&D environment.

Hands-on experience with pilot plants or processing equipment, and with scaling products up from lab to production.

Experience in dairy, fermentation or protein-based products.

Knowledge of food safety systems such as HACCP and GMP.

Excellent English, written and spoken.

Fluent Vietnamese, to work with local customers and the partner lab team.

Strong communication skills: you can explain technical results clearly to both engineers and buyers.

Organized and rigorous with data, documentation and confidentiality.

Able to work independently, as only person on site.

Ready to travel to Finland for 1–2 weeks of training on the technology, and within Vietnam to visit customers with other local sales people.

Nice to have (not mandatory)

Experience in technical sales or customer-facing application support.

Knowledge of thermal processing, cooking or extrusion technologies.

Experience with design of experiments (DOE) and statistical data analysis.

A network in the Vietnamese food and dairy industry.

Knowledge of Vietnamese food regulations.
