R&D Senior Engineer (Major in Materials/ Chemical Technology Engineering)

We are looking for potential candidates who are willing to work as an R&D Senior Engineer at R&D Center - Panasonic Appliances Vietnam Co.,Ltd.

JOB DETAILS:

- Working hour: From 8 a.m to 4:45 p.m.

- Working location: Thang Long II Industrial Zone, Hung Yen (daily shuttle bus from Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong & Hung Yen).

OVERALL:

- Research and develop new materials (steel, plastics, rubber, painted metal, printing, etc.)/ new technology for Washing Machine (WM) and Refrigerator (RF).

- In charge of WM, RF material evaluation activity.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Receive requests and evaluate according to the corporation standard system.

- Analyze quality issue related to material in the market or the line.

- Make judgments on the selection of materials for design engineers.

- Determine standards corresponding to raw materials and establish items that need to be tested according to standards.

- Work with makers to propose improvements or changes to materials appropriate materials.

- Follow the maintenance plan of testing equipment.

- Follow the purchase of equipment and tools for the laboratory.

- Manage chemicals: control import, export, inventory of chemicals, prepare reports and send to HSE department every 3 months.

- Follow and provide work instruction for Engineer level.

- Qualification: Bachelor's degree or higher in Materials/ Chemistry/ Chemical Technology Engineering.

- Experience: Have 3-4 years of experience in similar roles.

- Knowledge, Skills & Characteristics:

+ Deep understanding and hands-on experience in using material analysis equipment (infrared spectrometer, X-ray, thermal analyzer...) and material mechanical evaluation machine.

+ Ability to work independently and in a team.

+ Good hou-ren-sou skill.

+ Enthusiastic, honest, careful and active in work with a strong sense of responsibility.

- Language: Good English communication; Japanese language proficiency is an added advantage.
