Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for daily production operation management within the assigned production section. The role focuses on ensuring production output, manpower control, production discipline, process execution, quality compliance, and on-time completion of production plans.

The supervisor is expected to manage shopfloor execution, coordinate daily abnormalities, monitor production progress, and support stable operation of the production line.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Production Management

• Execute daily production plans according to PMC schedule

• Monitor hourly and daily production output

• Ensure work orders are completed on time

• Follow up production progress and report delays immediately

• Coordinate manpower arrangement based on production requirements

2. Shopfloor Management

• Manage daily operation of assigned production section

• Maintain production discipline and working order

• Monitor operator attendance and labor utilization

• Ensure smooth production flow and reduce waiting time

• Control WIP accumulation and material flow

3. Abnormality Handling

• Identify and report production abnormalities in a timely manner

• Coordinate with PMC, Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse to resolve issues

• Follow up machine breakdowns, material shortages, and production bottlenecks

• Escalate unresolved issues to Production Manager

4. Quality & Process Control

• Ensure operators follow SOP and process requirements

• Monitor product quality during production

• Reduce rework and production defects

• Support implementation of corrective actions

5. Productivity & Improvement

• Support productivity improvement activities

• Identify bottleneck processes and propose improvement ideas

• Assist in line balancing and process optimization

• Support implementation of lean production initiatives

6. Team Management

• Lead and supervise operators and team leaders

• Conduct daily briefing meetings

• Train new operators on work methods and production requirements

• Monitor operator performance and working attitude

• Build stable and disciplined production teams

7. Safety & 5S

• Ensure compliance with factory safety requirements

• Maintain 5S standards in assigned area

• Identify unsafe conditions and follow up corrective actions

Yêu cầu công việc

• Minimum 3 years production supervision experience in manufacturing environment

• Big scale manufacturing experience preferred

• Experience in solid wood production is an advantage

• Basic understanding of production planning and shopfloor management

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Strong execution and problem-solving ability

• Able to work under pressure and manage production targets

• Hands-on management style preferred
