JOB PURPOSE

Lead and manage daily procurement functions including sourcing, price negotiation, evaluation, searching for best-valued goods and post-order administration and contracting matters. Work closely with user departments to support terminal operation. Discipline company policies and maximize cost saving opportunities. Explore cost saving opportunities and streamline procurement process on a continuous basis.

While the primary responsibility of this position and the Procurement Department is to support SPCT's operational and business requirements, the role is also responsible for coordinating and managing procurement activities on behalf of affiliated entities within the group. These may include common corporate purchases and services such as employee benefits programs, medical insurance, annual health checks, festive gifts (e.g., Tet Hampers and Mooncakes), IT equipment, and other shared procurement requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Sourcing, price negotiation and preparation of Purchase Order 40%

2. Carry out tendering process and vendor evaluation / justifications 20%

3. Post-purchasing supports including customs clearance, liaison with forwarders and local deliverer 5%

4. Procurement policies and procedures formulation and implementation / monitoring of controls 15%

5. Other ad hoc requests by the procurement officer, F&A colleagues and users 20%

Yêu cầu công việc

University Graduate

Professional / qualified in any procurement examinations

5 years experience at similar level, 10 years experience in purchasing field at supervisory level, prefer: port and terminal, manufactory or logistics (RORO, Container, RS, FL, GC, PDI, ENG, QC, Warehouse, Facility)

Language: Good command of written and spoken English

Computer: Good communication and computer skills.

Others: Good sense to the industry
