Job Description

• Own IP sourcing and licensing for OnPoint's short drama slate: identify, evaluate and negotiate scripts, formats, titles and IP partnerships for brand-funded series on TikTok, Shopee Video and build the IP partner map for Vietnam and the region.
• Lead rights scoping and term sheets before production starts - adaptation rights, territory, term, exclusivity, derivative and clip rights, renewal options, and brand integration permissions.
• Advise on ownership of OnPoint-originated formats, characters and series IP, so a series funded by one brand can be reused, extended or licensed on where the contract allows.
• Own the claims envelopes for briefed third parties. Most published content is made by livestream hosts, affiliates and creators working to our briefs, so the approved claim set and the words they may use must be defined up front and carried inside every brief.
• Build and run the rights register - one record per asset and per engagement covering what is in it, who owns it, what OnPoint is licensed to do, for how long and in which markets.
• Run pre-publication clearance for music, stock, third-party footage, likeness, brand assets and licensed IP at a speed that keeps pace with industrial production (target 48-hour turnaround).
• Hold the publication veto: the final call on whether an asset may be published.
• Design the clearance workflow as a system - SOP, contract templates, exception handling that scale to thousands of assets a month without becoming a review queue.
• Measured on clearance turnaround, the share of assets shipping inside a pre-cleared envelope, and zero rights or claims incidents. Not on volume.

Yêu cầu công việc

• 3-6 years in media rights, entertainment or film/TV legal operations, content licensing, or in-house legal support.
• Direct experience licensing or clearing entertainment IP - drama, series, film, music or format rights.
• Operationally fast: able to design and run a clearance workflow handling thousands of assets a month without becoming the bottleneck.
• Short drama, mini-series or branded entertainment exposure in the Vietnam or China market is a distinct advantage.
• Regulated category exposure - beauty efficacy claims, health, supplements or infant nutrition is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of Vietnamese advertising, consumer protection and e-commerce regulation.
• Familiarity with platform policy on AI-generated content and branded content disclosure.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Vietnamese and English; English fluency sufficient for contracts and regional brand counsel.
