About the Role

We are looking for a senior banking professional to lead strategic initiatives across the lending business, with a focus on improving credit quality, customer journeys, delinquency management and overall lending performance.

The role will lead a cross-functional squad and work closely with Risk, Operations, Technology, Data, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Business teams to identify business problems, design solutions, run pilots and drive measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional squads to deliver strategic initiatives across the lending business.
• Analyze lending, credit risk, delinquency and operational data to identify key business opportunities and pain points.
• Identify gaps across the customer journey, from early warning and delinquency management to remediation, restructuring, recovery and customer retention.
• Design and implement new lending processes, customer journeys, operating models, SOPs and controls.
• Translate business priorities into clear OKRs, initiatives, backlogs and delivery plans.
• Lead pilot initiatives and test-and-learn programs, measuring business impact and driving successful solutions into wider implementation.
• Work closely with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Technology, Data, Branches and other stakeholders to ensure effective execution.
• Monitor key lending and credit performance indicators, including NPL, roll rate, cure rate, recovery and portfolio quality.
• Remove execution barriers and ensure timely delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Coach and coordinate squad members to maintain strong execution, stakeholder alignment and data-driven decision making.• 10+ years

• 10+ years of experience in banking, preferably across Retail/Consumer Lending, Credit Risk, Credit Strategy, Collections, Lending Operations or Banking Transformation.
• Strong understanding of the lending customer lifecycle and credit risk management.
• Experience working with delinquency, NPL, collections, recovery, remediation or restructuring is highly relevant.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and customer pain points into practical business solutions.
• Experience in product/process transformation, customer journey design or business transformation is highly preferred.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams or squads of approximately 8–15 members.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across Risk, Operations, Technology, Data, Legal and Business functions.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is an advantage.
• Mortgage/secured lending experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong strategic thinking, execution focus and customer-centric mindset.
