About the Role

We’re looking for a bold and visionary Head of Digital Lending Product to take our lending business to the next level. You’ll own the strategy and execution of our digital lending portfolio – from personal loans to SME credit and new embedded finance plays. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll shape product vision, lead cross-functional squads, and deliver products that redefine how people and businesses access credit.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Governance

• Define the overall strategy, roadmap, and business case for digital lending products, including personal loans, SME lending, and new digital propositions.
• Ensure all product developments comply with local regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and credit risk standards.
• Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes to ensure products remain relevant and compliant.

Product Development & Delivery

• Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle: market research, business case preparation, approval, design, system integration, testing, launch, and post-launch review.
• Partner with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration of products.
• Maintain clear documentation, governance approvals, and audit trails for all product initiatives.

Portfolio & Risk Management

• Monitor product performance against defined KPIs: origination volumes, approval rates, delinquency, NPL ratios, and profitability.
• Work closely with Credit Risk and Collections teams to ensure effective credit policies and portfolio health.
• Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting, MIS, and portfolio reviews.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead and develop a team of product managers and specialists.
• Act as the key liaison with senior management, regulators, and external partners for all matters relating to digital lending products.
• Provide structured updates to executive committees and governance forums.
• 8–10+ years in product management, with strong lending/credit experience (banking, fintech, or digital platforms).
• Track record of launching and scaling digital lending products (personal loans, SME credit, BNPL, etc.).
• Solid understanding of credit risk, scoring models, and digital underwriting.
• Growth mindset: data-driven, customer-obsessed, and comfortable testing and iterating fast.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bonus: exposure to open banking, alternative data, embedded finance.
