Tuyển dụng Environment Management Officer (Textiles Industry) tại Hồ Chí Minh

You will support environmental management initiatives throughout the supply chain, from raw material sourcing to factory operations, and contribute to projects implemented with suppliers in Vietnam and globally.

Key responsibilities may includes:

1. Climate Change & Energy Reduction

- Support suppliers in reducing carbon emissions and improving energy efficiency.

- Collect and analyze environmental data and support the development and review of reduction plans.

- Participate in energy assessments and initiatives related to renewable energy, alternative fuels and energy transition.

2. Factory Environmental Performance

- Support the implementation of environmental management and assessment programs across supplier factories.

- Monitor environmental performance and support factories in meeting required standards and continuously improving their practices.

3. Chemical & Wastewater Management

- Support the implementation of chemical management requirements across the supply chain.

- Monitor chemical inputs, restricted substances compliance and wastewater testing.

- Follow up on corrective actions and improvement plans when needed.

4. Water Resource Management & Community Projects

- Support initiatives related to water efficiency and water reduction at factory level.

- Participate in local water-related projects and water stewardship activities.

5. Waste Management & Circularity

- Support waste management initiatives across the supply chain.

- Collect and analyze factory waste data and monitor waste disposal methods.

- Identify opportunities to improve recycling practices and support textile waste recycling and circularity initiatives.

Depending on your experience and expertise, you may take ownership of specific areas independently or contribute across multiple environmental projects.

EDUCATION

- University or College degree.

- Background in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Sustainability or related fields is preferred.

- Experience or knowledge of the apparel, textile or manufacturing industry is an advantage.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

- Business-level English is mandatory.

- Vietnamese proficiency at native or business level.

OTHERS

- Passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact.

- Strong interest in environmental management and responsible supply chain practices.

- Strong communication, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

- Able to work independently, proactively identify issues and suggest solutions.

- Able to summarize complex information and data into clear and understandable materials.

- Good MS Office skills.

- Willingness to travel for factory visits
