About the Role

Our client is a global technology leader delivering innovative equipment solutions and technical expertise to advanced manufacturing industries. They are seeking a technically capable professional to support customer applications, optimize process performance, and facilitate the adoption of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical contact for assigned customers, investigating process-related issues and providing application guidance through on-site visits and remote support.
• Assist with product evaluation and business development activities, including equipment demonstrations, technical presentations, and comparative performance assessments against customer requirements and competing solutions.
• Partner with R&D and Product Development teams to conduct application trials, assess new functionalities, and ensure technical readiness for customer implementation.
• Establish and maintain application standards, process recommendations to individual customer needs.
• Work across internal technical and commercial teams to address customer requirements and drive effective application solutions.
• Apply knowledge of PCB design and manufacturing processes to support technical evaluations and resolve application challenges.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required by the line manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Solid knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes is essential.
• Familiarity with PCB design principles and related technologies.
• Good English communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical matters and work with cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience in customer-facing technical support or application engineering is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer facilities as required.
