What you will do

- Review the books of every company monthly, and own the chart of accounts and accounting setup across the group

- Prepare and submit tax filings (VAT, BHXH, PIT, provisional CIT, and annual CIT and PIT finalization) for up to three companies, and act as their registered Chief Accountant

- Review filings prepared by the in-house team at the remaining company before they are submitted

- Keep the books yourself for the newly launched food court concept, a small business with mostly automated POS and e-invoice data

- Produce monthly management accounts and forecasts for all companies, and train each company's staff to take over parts of this over time

- Take over from an outsourced provider at one company, including a structured review of the books at handover

- Set up consistent controls for cash, inventory and payables, and check they are followed on site

Deal with the tax authority, banks and auditors for the group

Yêu cầu công việc

You must have

- Personally prepared and submitted VAT, PIT and CIT filings, including the annual finalization, for at least one company. We cannot train this.

- A Chief Accountant Certificate, or eligibility to obtain one

- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in Vietnam, including time as chief accountant or accounting lead

- Strong command of VAS, and the judgement to spot when books do not reflect reality

- Native Vietnamese and working English: reporting to the owners is in English

- Experience guiding or training other finance staff

Strong advantages

- Experience in F&B, retail or food manufacturing, especially inventory, cost of goods and POS reconciliation

- Having run accounting for more than one company at the same time

- Having been through a tax inspection

- Registration as an accounting service practitioner

- Familiarity with MISA, CukCuk or similar software;

- Interest in using technology and AI tools to automate routine work
