About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Business Analyst to help shape and deliver enhancements across the POEMS Digital Trading platform.

This role goes beyond requirements gathering and documentation. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, operations teams, and technology teams to identify opportunities, solve business problems, drive decisions, and ensure successful delivery of digital trading initiatives.

You will play a critical role in bridging business and technology, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions, and ensuring initiatives are delivered with quality, speed, and business value.

Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, comfort working with ambiguity, and a proactive approach to driving outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design (70%)

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into clear functional and non-functional specifications.
• Conduct process reviews, gap analyses, and impact assessments to support new initiatives and system enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and process models.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to design, validate, and implement effective solutions.
• Challenge assumptions constructively and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Analyze business and production issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend practical and sustainable solutions.
• Evaluate risks, dependencies, constraints, and alternative approaches to support informed decision-making and successful delivery outcomes.

Project Delivery & Agile Coordination (20%)

• Maintain requirements documentation, traceability, and project artefacts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track requirements, issues, risks, action items, decisions, and project progress using Jira or similar project tracking tools.
• Support Agile delivery activities, including backlog management, sprint planning, sprint ceremonies, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and release coordination.

Communication & Stakeholder Management (10%)

• Facilitate stakeholder alignment, provide clear project status updates, and proactively manage risks, blockers, dependencies, and escalations.

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role, preferably within financial services, capital markets, brokerage, or online trading platforms.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, requirements analysis, and facilitation skills. 
• Hands-on experience using Jira, AI productivity tools, or similar project and collaboration platforms.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure and clarify ambiguous or incomplete information. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow through on commitments.
• Confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and influence outcomes through logical reasoning and data-driven analysis.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Familiarity with the securities trading lifecycle, including pre-trade, middle-office, and post-trade processes, would be a strong advantage.
