Assistant Manager/ Senior Consultant, Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) Consulting

To support our growth, our ESG Service team is looking for a Assistant Manager/ Senior Consultant to support on ESG related developments, mainly focus on regulatory and reporting obligations, including the consulting approach: assessment of client needs, project management etc. Being a member of our ESG Service Team, you bring your experience and open, innovative mindset to facilitate the implementation of data analytics in the field of ESG, to support companies monitor their ESG performance as well as integrating ESG within their operations and value chain.

You will be part of the team overseeing a range of ESG related topic through data management, reporting, transformation…. You will work closely with clients to identify business impact and obligations, reviewing ESG operating models and integrations to enhance the client’s capabilities.

What you will do:

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist companies in better understand and develop solutions to respond to the complex and evolving policy, regulatory, and business environment risks and opportunities associated with Corporate Sustainability and ESG

• Review/analyze corporate activities and provide recommendations related to enhance their sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to support clients in achieving their sustainability/ ESG objectives.

• Interact with clients for identifying regulatory impact and support in the client onboarding process

• Lead the review and development of sustainability/ESG programs and related reporting such as ESG gap analysis, heat map, compliance roadmap, documentation as well as revising standards and procedures

• Implement processes and systems to collect and normalize ESG information

• Facilitate the development and implementation of ESG data analytics and visualization tool

• ESG consulting services both from a Strategic (ESG vision and roadmap) and an Operational (process flow, prioritization) perspective.

• Lead engagement teams performing fieldwork, including project management, client management, ensuring quality and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, review of analysis, work papers and reports and presentations.

• At least 03 – 04 years of relevant professional experience involving strategy and economics knowledge (advisory services experience is an asset), primary experience in ESG is also an asset.

• Excellent undergraduate or graduate record showing knowledge of strategy and/or in economics and/or public policy

• Relevant studies and/or experience in socio-environmental economics is an asset

• Previous experience in industries such as asset management, insurance, bank and manufacturing

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Strong ability and willingness to manage several different projects in a deadline driven environment

• Highly detail-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy with ESG data

• Good analytical skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Self-motivated and team player

• Enthusiastic, demonstrate “can do” attitude with an ability to learn quickly

• Proficiency in Microsoft Tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

• Experience in VBA, Matlab, Python, PowerBI or other similar tools is a plus
