POSITION PURPOSE

• The Applications Specialist is responsible for delivering clinical application excellence and customer support across Bayer's Radiology portfolio, including contrast media, injection systems, software solutions, consumables, and future innovations.
• The role acts as a trusted clinical advisor to customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders by translating clinical needs into practical solutions that improve workflow efficiency, image quality, patient care, and utilization of Bayer technologies.
• The position serves as a key link between customers and Bayer's commercial, medical, and service teams, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and optimization of Bayer solutions while supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Location: Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi (open to candidates in both locations).

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION

• 1. Clinical Applications Support and Training
• Deliver product and clinical applications training to radiologists, radiographers, nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals on Bayer's Radiology portfolio.
• Develop customers' understanding of contrast media utilization, injection protocols, workflow optimization, and best clinical practices.
• Ensure users achieve proficiency in operating Bayer injection systems, software solutions, and related technologies.
• Support customer onboarding and continuous education programs to maximize adoption and clinical outcomes.
• 2. Customer Solution Development and Workflow Optimization
• Assess customer workflows, operational challenges, and clinical needs within radiology departments.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, image acquisition quality, patient experience, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with customers to co-create practical solutions aligned with clinical and operational objectives.
• Develop implementation plans and recommendations that generate measurable improvements in customer environments.
• 3. Solution Implementation and Project Support
• Lead and support implementation of new products, software solutions, and workflow improvement initiatives at customer sites.
• Coordinate data collection, process assessment, and performance monitoring throughout implementation projects.
• Provide ongoing guidance to ensure successful deployment and long-term sustainability of solutions.
• Act as a customer point of contact during implementation and post-launch support activities.
• 4. Cross-functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Service Teams, distributors, and external partners to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Support customer-facing activities, product demonstrations, workshops, congresses, and educational events.
• Contribute clinical expertise to commercial initiatives, customer engagement plans, and business opportunities.
• Ensure customer insights and feedback are communicated effectively across relevant stakeholders.
• 5. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management
• Build strong relationships with radiologists, technologists, nurses, IT personnel, biomedical engineers, department managers, and hospital administrators.
• Maintain a deep understanding of customer priorities, challenges, and future needs.
• Position Bayer as a trusted solution partner by delivering high-quality clinical support and value-added services.
• Foster long-term customer satisfaction and advocacy through consistent engagement and responsiveness.
• 6. Knowledge Development and Market Insights
• Stay updated on advancements in radiology, contrast media applications, imaging technologies, workflow solutions, and healthcare trends.
• Gather and share market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive information with internal stakeholders.
• Support the development of clinical best practices and educational materials.
• Promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the organization.
• 7. Compliance, Documentation and Operational Excellence
• Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, implementation projects, customer support, and application reports.
• Ensure all activities comply with Bayer policies, healthcare regulations, quality standards, and applicable industry requirements.
• Support audits, product complaints, and quality processes when required.
• Drive continuous improvement in applications support processes and customer service delivery.
• QUALIFICATIONS
• (Education, Skills, Experience and Personal Characteristics)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Science, Nursing, Healthcare Technology, or a related healthcare discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in radiology, medical imaging, healthcare technology, or clinical applications support, preferably within diagnostic imaging environments.
• Strong knowledge of Contrast Media, contrast injection protocols, CT, MRI, IR and related imaging modalities.
• Understanding of radiology workflow, patient care practices, imaging department operations, and clinical requirements.
• Knowledge of PACS, RIS, radiology connectivity solutions, healthcare software applications, interfaces, and workflow integration.
• Strong customer orientation with the ability to understand clinical needs and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, project coordination capabilities, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken.
• Ability to travel as required to support customers across Vietnam
