POSITION SUMMARY

The QA Manager is responsible for leading quality assurance activities for denim products throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with quality standards, approved samples, specifications, workmanship, and measurement requirements. The role serves as the primary quality contact for international buyers, third-party auditors, and factory visits, driving continuous quality improvement, customer satisfaction, and shipment quality performance.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead quality assurance activities throughout the entire manufacturing process, including product development, pre-production (PP) meetings, pilot runs, inline inspections, washing, finishing, and final audits.
• Ensure denim products consistently meet approved quality standards, fit, measurements, appearance, workmanship, and customer expectations.
• Act as the key quality representative during buyer visits, quality reviews, factory audits, and third-party inspections. Coordinate factory preparation, address audit findings and buyer comments, and ensure corrective action plans (CAPs) are implemented and closed on time.
• Ensure production strictly follows approved quality manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), samples, specifications, testing requirements, and compliance standards.
• Monitor quality implementation throughout production and maintain consistency between approved samples and bulk production.
• Analyze quality performance, customer complaints, final audit results, audit findings, and defect trends to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Follow up on corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve customer satisfaction.
• Monitor QA/QC team performance, provide relevant training, and ensure consistent quality standards and evaluation across the team.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in garment quality management.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong experience in denim garment manufacturing and washing processes.

Competencies & Skills

• Strong knowledge of garment quality standards, construction, measurements, fitting requirements, and workmanship expectations.
• Good understanding of denim washing, finishing, shade control, shrinkage control, and garment appearance evaluation.
• Thorough knowledge of AQL inspection systems and factory quality management systems.
• Strong root cause analysis, corrective action management, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Proficient in quality reporting, data analysis, and presentation.
• Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate independently with international buyers, auditors, and overseas stakeholders.
