Position Summary

The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Spa and Fitness Center, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and high service standards are consistently maintained. The role is responsible for managing departmental operations, achieving financial and operational objectives, and ensuring all facilities, equipment, and preventive maintenance programs are maintained in accordance with company standards, departmental SOPs, and safety requirements.

The Spa Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through effective upselling strategies, retail performance, wellness programs, and the continuous development of new Spa treatments and guest experiences. The role also requires staying informed of market trends, guest preferences, competitor activities, and industry developments to ensure the Spa remains competitive, innovative, and aligned with evolving guest expectations.

The Spa Manager is also responsible for leading, developing, and motivating the Spa team by fostering a positive and collaborative working environment, ensuring employees are properly trained, engaged, and empowered to deliver professional, personalized, and service-oriented experiences to all guests.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the Spa and Fitness Center to ensure high service standards, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Ensures all Spa facilities, equipment, treatment rooms, and guest areas are properly maintained, clean, safe, and operational at all times.
• Monitors preventive maintenance programs, equipment warranties, and service agreements, and coordinates with Engineering on repairs and maintenance requirements.
• Develops and promotes Spa treatments, wellness programs, retail products, and upselling initiatives to enhance guest experiences and departmental revenue.
• Maintains awareness of current Spa, wellness, fitness, and hospitality market trends, including new treatments, products, and industry developments.
• Prepares and monitors departmental budgets, forecasts, expenses, inventories, and P&L performance in accordance with company financial objectives.
• Ensures inventories of retail products, operational supplies, linen, and professional products are conducted accurately and maintained at appropriate levels.
• Supervises Spa reservations, scheduling, labor productivity, and operational planning to maximize efficiency and service standards.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, departmental SOPs, hygiene standards, safety procedures, and local regulations.
• Conducts regular inspections and walk-throughs of the Spa, Fitness Center/Gym, and retail areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and operational readiness.
• Leads, trains, develops, motivates, and supports team members to maintain professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
• Participates in recruitment, performance management, scheduling, training, and team development activities within the department.
• Maintains professional and effective working relationships with other departments to support operational efficiency, communication, and guest satisfaction.
• Handles guest concerns, feedback, and operational issues professionally and diplomatically to ensure timely resolution and positive guest experiences.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred; higher education is an advantage.
• Minimum three to four years of managerial experience in hotel, Spa, or wellness operations is preferred.
• Maintains a professional and well-groomed appearance.
• Fluent in spoken and written Vietnamese, with fluency in English communication.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with guests, team members, and Management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Well organized with the ability to multi-task, analyze operational challenges, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare, manage, and monitor departmental budgets, expenses, and P&L performance to achieve financial objectives.
• Proven ability to maintain high service standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Experience in recruiting, training, developing, and motivating team members while fostering accountability and continuous performance improvement.
• Ability to foster positive working relationships and promote teamwork within the department and across operations.
