Duties and responsibilities:

- Role Overview: Responsible for increasing Service & Aftermarket capacity by taking overall of assigned service cases, from initial Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Order (PO) through to site mobilization, execution follow-up, close-out, and invoicing. Acts as a key technical point of contact and provides informal day-to-day task coordination and review for Service Engineer.

- Manage assigned service cases through all operational phases: Phase 1 (documentation & tour prep), Phase 2 (PO to invoice execution), Phase 3 (RFQ to invoice commercial ownership), and Phase 4 (informal coordination and coaching of junior engineers).

- Prepare detailed service quotations, including scope definition, cost estimation, resource allocation, supplier cost inputs, lead times, exclusions, and risk assessments for management approval.

- Ensure full service-tour readiness prior to mobilization, including verification of equipment history, drawings, BOMs, procedures, checklists, materials, personnel, and supplier deliverables.

- Manage service tours as standalone projects, coordinating scope, schedule, costs, actions, risks, documentation, and field-team interfaces, while maintaining clear customer and management updates.

- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate suppliers and sub-contractors, clarify technical queries, compare quotations, lead times, and availability, and tracking deliveries.

- Oversee post-service execution deliverables, including field service reports, punch list closure, document updates, and invoice basis coordination with the finance team.

- Allocate tasks to Vietnam Service Engineer(s), review work outputs, maintain a proactive preparation queue, and capture lessons learned into reusable job packages and checklists.

- Ensure all engineering deliverables and service activities strictly comply with client specifications, company standards, and relevant international codes (NORSOK, ISO, EN, DNV, NFPA, etc.).

- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Mechanical, Process, Technical Safety, or relevant Engineering discipline.

- Minimum 7 years of relevant engineering experience, including practical field exposure in industrial, offshore, maritime, or EPC environments (e.g., as Field, Service, or Commissioning Engineer).

- Strong understanding of system operation, interfaces, and failure analysis/troubleshooting (mechanical, hydraulic, control, and firefighting systems).

- Ability to read, interpret, and validate P&IDs, GAs, datasheets, and BOMs against physical field equipment.

- Solid grasp of project management principles (coordinating scope, schedule, cost, actions, procurement, and risk).

- Experience in supplier inquiries, subcontractor management, and technical/commercial quotation preparation.

- Working knowledge of service documentation, QA/HSE practices, and industry standards (NORSOK, ISO, DNV, NFPA, ATEX/IECEx, etc.).

- Advanced English proficiency (both spoken and written) for client discussions, technical clarification, and report/quotation writing.

- Proven capability to coordinate, review, and coach junior colleagues.

- Strong problem-solving capability, high commercial awareness, structured, and quality-driven.
