Duties and responsibilities:

- Role Overview: Responsible for providing service preparation, technical research, and project support capacity, working closely with the Service Lead Engineer and Service & Aftermarket Manager to deliver high-quality technical documentation and service packages.

- Research installed-base information, drawings, BOMs, datasheets, service history, and previous project documentation to establish reliable technical background for service cases.

- Support sales activities and quotation preparation by preparing scopes of work, material and resource lists, vendor comparison sheets, lead-time data, and technical clarifications for review.

- Contact suppliers and sub-suppliers to request and follow up on quotations, availability, technical information, certificates, and documentation.

- Prepare, update, and maintain engineering documents, including P&IDs, GA drawings, datasheets, procedures, test records, and as-built documentation within demonstrated competence.

- Assemble comprehensive service-tour packages (equipment history, drawings, BOMs, checklists, procedures, and material status) for the Lead Engineer’s review prior to tour mobilization.

- Support project management activities by maintaining action lists, schedules, cost inputs, risk registers, supplier trackers, and traceable service files.

- Draft service reports, gather field inputs, track open actions, and prepare document updates and invoice support data.

- Progressively take ownership of service cases from Phase 1 (documentation & prep) to Phase 2 (PO to invoice) and Phase 3 (RFQ to invoice) based on demonstrated competence and approval.

- Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Mechanical, Process, Technical Safety, or relevant Engineering discipline.

- Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering or service-support experience with demonstrated technical fundamentals and reliable task delivery. Practical field exposure or vendor coordination experience is preferred.

- Basic to sound understanding of mechanical/process system operation and equipment functions.

- Ability to read, update, and produce P&IDs, GAs, datasheets, and BOMs.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office tools, and document management systems.

- Familiarity with supplier research, vendor comparison, and technical quotation support.

- Basic knowledge of service documentation, QA/HSE principles, and relevant engineering standards (NORSOK, ISO, NFPA, DNV, etc.).

- Good English proficiency (both written and spoken) for technical documentation, clear discussions, and status updates.

- Structured, meticulous attention to detail, proactive, and highly reliable in meeting deadlines.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills, comfortable seeking technical guidance when needed.
