Senior Japanese - English Automotive Technical Interpreter - Translator

Your main responsibility would be:

• Conduct consecutive interpreting in automotive technical meetings of project teams and customers in Japanese & English

• Moderate / facilitate the technical meetings of project team and customers

• Translation of technical documents between Japanese and English.

• Import / update the content of specification in various formats (word, excel, pdf, matrix...) into Doors system, manage version, set attribute and layout as per request.

• Other tasks if requested.

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Business Administration or relevant subjects.

• Proficient in both Japanese and English speaking and writing skills. (JLPT N2 & IELTS 6.5 or above)

• At least 4 years of Automotive / IT / software interpretation experience is preferred.

• Preference will be given to candidates who have studied / worked in Japan and have a good understanding of Japanese workplace culture.

• Logical and analytical thinking.
