【Job Summary】

One of our logistics clients is now looking for a Sales Executive.

【Job description】

• Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base, especially among non-Japanese customers.
• Acquire new customers for freight forwarding, cold chain, and other logistics services.
• Explore new business opportunities in food, fruit, frozen cargo, seafood, and other cold chain products
• Develop customer relationships and grow existing accounts
• Prepare quotations, collect cost information, and submit quotations to customers and related internal departments accurately and on time.
• Negotiate with suppliers and control service costs to ensure competitive pricing
• Maintain regular communication with customers and suppliers, and report business progress and challenges to the manager.
• Coordinate with the Operations team and suppliers to meet customer requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned. Further details will be discussed during the interview.
• Any others relevant duties as assigned by General Manager

＜Must＞

• Graduated University/College of related major
• English: Upper-Intermediate level
• At least 2 years’ experience in logistics sales/ forwarder/customs broker/cold chain at a freight forwarding or logistics company is preferred.
• Experience in new business development, especially with non-Japanese customers.
• A strong sales hunting mindset, with a focus on acquiring new customers rather than only managing existing accounts.
• Good knowledge of logistics services, including ocean freight, air freight, customs clearance, trucking, and warehousing (including cold storage warehouses)
• Good communication, negotiation, analytical, and pricing skills.

＜Prefer-NOT must＞

• Experience with Japanese company working style is preferred.
• Good management,negotiation and business planningskills, good knowledge of sale& marketing of logistics fieldand air/ocean/warehouse/trucking/customs procedures
• Good Japanese skills (Business level)
